These Terms of Use apply to scopedlabs.com and the tools, calculators, analyzers, Knowledge Base content, export reports, saved snapshots, and paid category access provided by ScopedLabs. By using ScopedLabs, you agree to these Terms.

Planning tools only

ScopedLabs tools are planning aids. They are designed to help estimate, compare, document, and sanity-check engineering scenarios, but they do not replace professional engineering judgment, manufacturer documentation, field validation, code review, compliance review, or project-specific design approval.

• Verify calculations, assumptions, product limits, and site conditions before relying on outputs.
• Confirm applicable codes, standards, authority-having-jurisdiction requirements, and manufacturer documentation.
• Use exports and snapshots as documentation aids, not formal engineering approval.

No professional advice

ScopedLabs does not provide project-specific engineering, legal, safety, financial, compliance, or regulatory advice. You are responsible for final design decisions and for confirming whether any result is appropriate for the actual equipment, environment, and project requirements.

Accounts and sign-in

Some features require passwordless account sign-in. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure and for activity that occurs through your ScopedLabs account. ScopedLabs may suspend or restrict access if misuse, abuse, fraud, security risk, or a violation of these Terms is suspected.

Paid category access

ScopedLabs may sell access to paid tool categories. A purchase unlocks the selected category for the account used at checkout, including the paid tools currently available in that category and any future tools ScopedLabs chooses to add to that same category. Category availability, features, pricing, and tool content may change over time.

Checkout and digital delivery

Payments are processed by Stripe. ScopedLabs does not store full credit card numbers on its own servers. By purchasing access, you authorize the applicable charge and agree to provide accurate checkout and account information.

Paid access is delivered digitally. After a successful checkout, access is normally applied to the purchasing account automatically. If access does not appear after purchase, contact support with the email address used at checkout so the issue can be reviewed.

Refunds

Because ScopedLabs provides digital access, purchases are generally final once access has been delivered. ScopedLabs may review refund requests case by case for duplicate purchases, checkout errors, or unresolved access problems. Refund requests should be sent to support@scopedlabs.com.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse ScopedLabs, interfere with site operation, attempt unauthorized access, bypass paid access controls, scrape or copy the service at scale, reverse engineer private systems, upload malicious content, or use the service in a way that violates law or the rights of others.

Exports, reports, snapshots, and Knowledge Base content

Export reports and saved snapshots are provided for documentation convenience only. You are responsible for reviewing all exported values, assumptions, notes, and conclusions before sharing or relying on them.

Knowledge Base content is general educational guidance. It may explain common concepts, inputs, outputs, assumptions, and engineering considerations, but it is not a substitute for official product documentation, standards, regulations, codes, or professional review.

Intellectual property

ScopedLabs, the site design, tool structure, written content, calculators, analyzers, and related materials are owned by ScopedLabs or its licensors. You may use generated results and reports for your own planning and documentation, but you may not copy, resell, clone, or redistribute the service itself without permission.

Availability, disclaimers, and liability limits

ScopedLabs may update, modify, add, remove, suspend, or discontinue tools, categories, features, pricing, or access methods at any time. ScopedLabs may also perform maintenance or experience outages.

ScopedLabs is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the maximum extent allowed by law, ScopedLabs disclaims warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted operation, and error-free performance.

To the maximum extent allowed by law, ScopedLabs will not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, project delays, procurement decisions, compliance failures, or field installation outcomes arising from use of the site or reliance on tool outputs.

Questions and updates

ScopedLabs may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
