Compute Power & Thermal
This tool continues the Compute design flow
Use this step to convert system density and accelerator choices into real rack power, circuit loading, and cooling demand before deployment assumptions harden.
This is where compute sizing becomes infrastructure reality — because power and thermal limits often become the next hard ceiling after CPU, memory, or GPU planning looks reasonable on paper.
Best for: validating rack power and cooling requirements before deployment.

What this models
- Total rack power demand under node count, peak factor, and overhead
- Heat rejection in BTU/hr and cooling tons
- Whether branch circuits or thermal reserve become the next infrastructure limit
Inputs
Results
Model: node count and per-node draw are converted into total rack watts, BTU/hr, cooling tons, and circuit draw. This is an infrastructure planning view, not a substitute for measured power telemetry under actual load.
