Ambient Rise Estimator
This tool continues the Thermal design flow
Use this step to estimate how much the local ambient temperature rises once the available airflow is asked to absorb the current thermal load.
This is where airflow quantity starts translating into a real environmental temperature consequence before you move on to exhaust conditions.
Best for: predicting how much the environment temperature will rise given airflow and heat load before validating exhaust conditions.

What this models
- Ambient temperature rise from heat load and delivered airflow
- How close the current design is to under-cooled operation
- Whether airflow margin is still healthy before exhaust temperature is evaluated
Results
Model: ambient rise is estimated from the current heat load and available airflow using a simplified heat-removal relationship. This is a planning pass, not a CFD or fan-curve simulation.
